Marriage Types:
1.Special Marriage:The parties intending to solemnize marriage under Special Marriage Act.
2.Form 16 Marriage:The parties(already married) intending to registered marriage under Special Marriage Act.

The parties intending to solemnize marriage under Special Marriage Act have to furnish notice to the concern Marriage Officer, before 30 days of the intended marriage/ or The parties(already married) intending to registered marriage under Special Marriage Act have to furnish application to the concern Marriage Officer, before 30 days of the intended marriage. This application provides facility to such parties to submit the notice/application and documents without physically visiting the concern marriage office. This facility is limited for submission of the notice/application. The marriage will be solemnized/registered before the Marriage Officer.
- This facility can be availed only if the bride/wife & groom/husband have Aadhaar number and ready to give their consent for verification of their identity with the Aadhaar system (UIDA) .
- The flow of the application will be as :

Parties to the intended marriage -
- Data entry of details of Bride/Wife and Groom/Husband
- Capturing of photo and thumb.
- Verification with Aadhaar system,
- Uploading of Age proof, Address proof etc.
- Preview of Notice/Application summary.
- Submission of notice/application details.
- Thereafter can check status by using the notice/application reference number.
- Marriage Officer
- Insure that the data, photos and thumb images are proper,
- Insure that the identity is verified with Aadhaar system,
- Insure that the details are inconsistent with the uploaded proofs,
- Mark the query, if any
- If found complete in every aspect, shall accept the notice/application in principally and instruct for making payment of notice/application fee

Parties to the intended marriage
- If queried, use the ‘modify entry’ and modify according and resubmit.
- If instructed for payment, make online payment of notice/application fee
- Marriage Officer
- Verify the payment, deface it and shall pass the digitally signed receipt

Parties to the intended marriage
- Download the receipt
- If want, can request for visit of Marriage officer for solemnization of marriage
- Go to Marriage office ( or place of visit, if any) for solemnization of marriage after 30 days from the date of receipt
- All these activities (apart from solemnization of marriage) can be performed from anywhere anytime, without going physically to Marriage Office.

Important:
- Please go through the Special Marriage Act and user manual before proceeding,
- Notice/Application fee should be paid online through Online Notice application.
- PDF scan document of age and address proof have size less than 3 MB.
- Acceptance of notice/application will be subject to verification of original proofs at the time of solemnization of marriage
- If the Marriage Officer Queried are not complied with in 15 Days from the queried date, The application can be rejected automatically. In that case party needs to apply for fresh entry again.

- Groom/Husband and Bride/Wife should have Aadhaar Number and it should be verified with through UID by using thumb.
- Notice/Application fee should be paid online through Online Notice application.

Before submission kindly insure that -
- At least one of the parties to the marriage should have been resided in the district of the marriage officer (to which notice is being given) for a period of not less than thirty days immediately preceding the date of which such notice is given.
- In case of Form 16(already married),both the parties to the marriage should have been resided in the district of the marriage officer (to which application is being given) for a period of not less than thirty days immediately preceding the date of which such application is given.
- Groom’s/Husband's name in Marathi is inconsistent with name in English.
- Groom’s/Husband's photo is properly captured.
- Groom’s/Husband's thumb not properly captured.
- Bride’s/Wife's name in Marathi is inconsistent with name in English.
- Bride’s/Wife's photo is properly captured.
- Bride’s/Wife's thumb is properly captured.
- UID Message (Groom/Husband);
- Groom’s/Husband's photo (entered) is matching with his photo received from UID.
- Groom’s/Husband's Date of Birth (entered) is matching with date received from UID.
- Groom’s/Husband's name (entered) is matching with name received from UID.
- Groom’s/Husband's name in Marathi (entered) is matching with name in Marathi received from UID.

UID Message (Bride/Wife);
- Bride’s/Wife's photo (entered) is matching with his photo received from UID.
- Bride’s/Wife's Date of Birth (entered) is matching with date received from UID.
- Bride’s/Wife's name (entered) is matching with name received from UID.
- Bride’s/Wife's name in Marathi (entered) is matching with name in Marathi received from UID.

- Groom’s/Husband's uploaded age proof is readable,
- Groom’s/Husband's name (entered) is matching with name in uploaded age proof,
- Groom’s/Husband's Date of Birth is matching with date as per uploaded age proof

- Bride’s/Wife's uploaded age proof is readable,
